How Classes Work
Spark Learn Tutoring is proud to have provided a unique learning experience carefully designed for outstanding students studying online. We offer full math, english, and chess curriculums aligned with the common core standards. Our curriculum has been written by highly trained and qualified teachers. Most of our courses meet 2 or 3 times a week for live sessions and have a variety of types of weekly homework. Read more below about what makes our school so special.

Differentiated Learning Pathways & Problem Solving
Students learn in many different ways, so we make a variety of resources available. In addition to the live classes and weekly homework, all of our courses employ the following unique features that not only make learning more enjoyable for students, but also much more effective:
- Messaging system between tutors and students to allow for questions outside of the classroom
- Fully printable curriculum for students to utilize during each course
- Prerecorded Lessons for students to go back and review material if they did not understanding something in class.
- Learning Management System that tracks how students are performing throughout their courses.
- Auto-grading homework assignments which allows students to receive instant feedback after submitting an assignment!
Active Learning and Problem Solving
When learning math, our students learn how to solve hard problems by tackling the problems themselves, not by watching passively as others do the work. In our classes, students solve each problem, with instructors asking questions to guide them. Only after the students have solved a problem does the instructor provide direct commentary reinforcing key insights.
